I went to Straw's Kitchen a few times in 2020. Unfortunately the restaurant closed it's doors to diners for the last time today. The catering portion stays in operation though. The owner seems nice and is often busy as he is the only employee. So, over the months, I had 1. Flamin'Jamaican Burger Jalapeno aioli, pico de gallo, habanero jack, red chili relish, red green chili habanero, ghost pepper sprinkle. 2.Thai Chili Burger Mayo, sriracha, grilled pineapple, burger, American, grilled pork roll, Thai chili sauce, brioche roll. 3. Slow Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich 4. Chicken Ranchero Mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, light onion, shaved chicken breast, American, cheddar jack, bacon, ranch. All meals were very tasty as well as messy at some point. I even got a complementary hot dog one time. The only caveat was the scatterbrain business model. It started as a pizza and brisket shop that was opened for only a couple hours a few days of the week then it was closed for catering only then transformed to include breakfast and lunch with menus on the internet which you couldn't be confident were current. I'm looking for a future reincarnation of the restaurant after the pandemic is over when people come back out.

Not sure why the rent more reviews for Straws. It's a little off the beaten path, but a local gem. Have had outstanding breakfast sandwiches from Dave. Today we tried the American burger with bacon. Best burger I've had in a while (and I had a Steve's burger just last week)! We also had a cheesesteak and some wings. Dave said there were 10 in an order. We got 14 and they were monstrous. Instead of going to chains for a quick breakfast or lunch supposed great local eateries like Straws.

Been coming to straws kitchen for a few months now at this point this is my seventh or eighth time. Been trying different things on your menu and everything is absolutely perfect! Looking forward to trying the whole entire menu. A true foodies breakfast and lunch experience. The owner is always there and over the top pleasant and professional. Wishing straws kitchen much and well-deserved continued success!
