Portobello's Bistro - HAWLEY

The pizza is absolutely delicious, and the Italian dishes are just as great! The Sunday breakfast is hearty and tasty! The space is large and well-designed, and I really love the Italian landscape photos on the walls. It has a very cozy atmosphere!

The restaurant is large and clean, and it has recently reopened in the area. They're still fine-tuning some things, but overall, the food was good. The prices are a bit high for the neighborhood, but the quality justifies it. I do wish I had known that the bun was going to be brioche, as I would have requested it not be toasted—that's the only complaint I have. The owners seem like genuinely nice people, so I think it's worth a visit. Just keep in mind that the prices resemble those in New York rather than what you might expect locally. For three burgers and drinks, including tip, it came to around $40.

This was my first visit, and all four of us enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant allows you to bring your own wine. Just a note: it's not the same as the pizza place that has been closed for a while.

Good food, however their service is slow and theres not much atmosphere. However, it is a newer restraunt in the area and as people learn about it that's likely to change. Overall, I'd come back

A pleasant surprise. Excellent Cuban sandwich. Fresh salad. Great service and the fries are delicious!
