Goll's Bakery - Havre de Grace

I've tried to go to this bakery three times and they have been unexpectedly closed or open with no bake goods ready.

They made a great birthday cake for my nephew's sons second birthday. We asked for a under the sea theme and we really got what we wanted.

While I definitely wanted some fresh baked bread, I was also curious to see this structure from 1907 that first served as the Fahey Hotel before coming into the Goll family in 1930. One of the current family members explained that the window and door frames and basic structure was much the same as it was 90 years ago when the Goll Bakery started. In addition to learning more history I bought a fresh loaf of Vienna dark rye bread, a piece of carrot cake and a delicious mini cherry pie, which I ate on the way home. It is buildings and stories like these that make the historic district of Havre de Grace a joy to visit.
