Madeira Cafe - Haverhill

I took my family out for lunch and we really enjoyed the Portuguese dish; it was a perfect 10/10. The children's meals were also just right. The coffee was excellent as well. However, the highlight was definitely the service and hospitality. We'll be back soon!

Maria and Jose operate this café, and they are a lovely couple who craft delicious coffee. A cappuccino costs £1.80 or £2.00. They offer a variety of delightful Portuguese cakes, as well as fish and chips or a traditional English breakfast. It's definitely worth a visit!

It’s wonderful to discover such a charming little business. They serve excellent coffee and delicious food. It truly feels like a getaway to the countryside!

Beautiful coffee shop very friendly people, very good cake / painting, excellent lemon huh would recommend simple access to shop, near parking make access very easy and all-round would use again as I have already done.

Came in yesterday for a coffee to take away while we were in the area. (I always prefer to search out independent coffee shops when I’m somewhere new, rather than go to a chain). Really friendly service, nice coffee too, and a very tasty Pastel de natas . Seem also to have a good selection of Portuguese food to buy. I hope I get the chance to visit again sometime.
