There is a new pizza maker named Nick who is rumored to use drugs and has a tendency to kick customers out if he doesn't like them. I was refused service because I know Nick personally, and the owner was unwilling to address the issue. Since the departure of Chad, the quality of the restaurant has declined significantly. The current employee seems to align with Nick's decisions to remove customers, which I find unacceptable and unprofessional. I had to return on a day when Nick was not working to receive service, and even then, the pizza was subpar. It seems that hiring individuals with substance abuse issues has negatively impacted the business. Overall, I believe the restaurant is failing due to these issues.
I used to drive down from Maine for the pizza I've been enjoying for years. However, the new owner has altered the recipe, and it's no longer as good as it used to be. It's not worth making the trip anymore unless they return to the original recipe. It's such a shame!
