This was our first time dining here, and since it was Father's Day, I chose this restaurant to celebrate. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a very good experience. To begin with, the soft drink was flat. The food had the wrong side dishes paired with it, and one of the meats, which was supposed to be well cooked, was actually undercooked and red inside. To top it off, as we were leaving, the waitress practically chased us outside to complain about her tips, insisting that she wasn’t the one responsible for the kitchen issues. Overall, it was quite disappointing.
I was disappointed with the value for takeout. I ordered the steak salad for $22, and to my surprise, it only came with 3 ounces of steak. It was so small that I thought there had to be a mistake. My daughter had a kids' meal with sweet potato fries, and she only received about 10 fries—honestly, it looked like half of them were missing!
Don’t bother ordering takeout from here. Meatloaf was about 1/4” thin and the driest meatloaf I’ve ever seen. Onion rings on top were soggy and only got about 2 spoonfuls of potatoes. Maybe it just doesn’t travel well because the online reviews are decent. Definitely not worth the $20 for the tiny amount of food you get. Can’t leave a review on the taste because it didn’t even look edible.
The food was good for the most part. Not thrilled about the portions for the fish tacos. Mostly beans and rice, one taco in particular barely had a little nugget of fish in it. The server was bordering on rude at times. While taking our order (two people had ordered, three remained), she abruptly stopped and grabbed the host who was walking by to complain about the seating pattern. I later heard her complain again about losing a table, while well within earshot of our table. We were a party of five and when asked by the host if a booth was ok we looked at the booths and realized that it would be tight, (they are ment for four people) so we asked for a table. They proceeded to pull two four tops together, making what was potentially eight seats into five. My wife and I have both worked in food service and I cannot imagine acting this way in the dining room ever. While I would hate to see someone lose their job or even be punished over something like this, they should be made aware that it was inappropriate and noticed by the customer. Side note for other dinners, I still tipped -25% because I was there for a service and that service was efficiently provided, (for the most part) everyone has bad days. I have had better experiences at multiple 110 locations previously.
