La Carboncita - Havana

The restaurant is located in a great area, just minutes west of La Habana Vieja. (10 minutes drive) It is embedded in a quiet place, safe with lots of green. When you arrive first, we were immediately greeted and sitting (on the way they speak; English, Spanish, French and Italian). Everything tasted fresh and was made to order. The Focaccia was amazing. We also had a mozzarella packed in Prosciutto ham surrounded by tomatoes that was really delicious. Our pasta (old dente) with fresh shrimps and well seasoned. The service was impeccable. Then the desserts... Flan, Mamey Ice Cream came in his bowl, and we also ordered a pineapple-cococolos scarf that was the forging on the meal. My family and I highly recommend this place and cannot wait to visit again when we are in Havana!

Antique Cuban style decor, with a great atmosphere surrounded by an excellent hospitality. I saw customers from all over the world, Italian, Cubans, Americans and others. I ordered a fish, my family ordered pizza, pasta and other Italian dishes, everything was excellent. Eating on time and moderate price. I'll say cheap compared to quality. It's boss and administrator manager came to my table to make sure we have a good experience. I recommend this place. Please have room in the terrace, under the stars.
