Babes - Havana

Saturday night with the family. I had the Prime Rib and was fabulous. I want to die. Burger's are Horseshoes are great and cut off with Jan's cheesecake. Service was top notch and stopped at the kitchen to tell Chef Eric about our delicious dinner.

We saw a posting some time ago on facebook called These 13 Illinois towns might be tiny but their restaurants are fantastic . I saved it so that we could try some of them out some time when we are out riding. So that 's what led us to Babes on Plum today! And are we glad we came! The food was fantastic the homemade chips, the spinach/artichoke dip, the tenderloin, the spinach/pecan salad... everything was excellent! We will be telling others about it!

The people there are very welcoming, helpful patient. They have amazing food with a beautiful setting!!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Stopped in after a Sunday drive and the food and service were amazing!! The Haystack Onion Rings, the Fried Green Beans, and then the Fried Chicken and Garlic Mashed Potatoes were to die for!!! A very enjoyable afternoon!

We heard of Babes On Plums from the Illinois 13 places to eat outside of Chicago Thrill list. We drove over 100 miles for Sunday lunch. Well worth the drive. The fried chicken, Reuben, and homemade chips were fantastic. The service top notch. If we are ever in the area again we will stop in. 5 Stars for Babes!
