Trejo’s Mexican - Haughton

The food quality was quite good! I really enjoyed it.

The taquitos are decent, but there isn't much sour cream on the plate; it's mostly just guacamole.

I'm just trying to understand a simple issue: why do you have to purchase chips separately when you order queso, especially for takeout? They handed me a bag with just the cheese, and when I asked where the chips were, I was told I had to buy them separately. I requested a refund because, honestly, I usually eat queso with chips. As I looked up the menu to confirm this, I asked if I would get chips for free if I dined in. The response was yes, you do. So, I sat down, and they brought out the chips in a bowl, which I then added to my bag with the queso before leaving. Cheese without chips? It makes no sense! This whole experience has left me completely confused. I won't be coming back! It’s strange to charge for something you typically receive for free.

My entire family loves Trejo's. I love their chicken enchilada dinner. My wife enjoys the taco salad. My youngest son likes their hamburgers. Our middle son loves their chicken strips and mac n' cheese. My oldest son loves the beef enchiladas. There is something for the whole family at Trejo's. We always have a great time.

The food is excellent. The restaraunt is very clean and pleasant to sit for quiet meal.
