Outback Steakhouse Hattiesburg

Out for a meal with the Fam in the Hub City on Christmas vacay from the ATL. Thought a hamburger would be quick and easy no trouble for the kitchen staff. Much to my surprise, the other 6 family members at out table received their food on time while I got to watch them eat their entire meal. The Manager came out and offered up a feeble excuse that they were trying to get the grill right to cook my burger well done. Wow! Maybe this was a bit of a stretch for the kitchen, but I felt this order should be fairly simple to complete. Just come out and admit you blew it would have much more respect for you. This type of service in ATL would be rewarded with a big ole Raspberry maybe not so much here. As we were getting up to leave, they brought out a burger for me must have had to go to the actual Outback to find the beef told them to keep it. I 'm sure I will enjoy that voucher for a rain check at a later date wait, where did I put it??? Oh yeah, no voucher.....actually, no anything. Caution to all, if you dine here and have an unfortunate experience, you are on you own. Advantage ATL.

Good food, really nice waiting staff. they had a few mix-ups on the order, usually just a plate to the wrong person, not a problem. but a person ordered his steak medium; another one ordered the same steak medium well. cooking was enough that they exchanged teller. food: 4/5

I took my sister there to the retire at halloween. the host were very friendly. we ordered a blooming wobbles as an appetizer, but when we got them, it was over boiled and swimming in a teller fat! I had to go into the bar to get a refill of soda because our server could not be found anywhere! the steaks were in order, but the service sucked! will not go back, oh and my sister left a 10.00 top in which I would not have! even if the server brought back my change, it took it on itself to keep the change, but to give me the bills! I started confronting her, but my sister was like she let it go! but how can she (the waitress) assume that it was okay to keep my coins?

They have difficulty cooking steaks on the ordered level. the steak of my life was very good. he sent it back and after a long waiting period a replacement steak arrived. it could best be described as very rare. he didn't send it back a second time, but it was far away to be a medium. my own steak, also ordered medium, arrived moderately. I didn't send it back, but I should have done it.
