Newt's Catfish - Hattiesburg

After growing up in Hattiesburg, I finally discovered this gem of a restaurant! I can't believe I missed out on 25 years of this delightful experience, but I'm glad I've found it now! I absolutely love this restaurant! It has a fun, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with fantastic food and even better service! Our server, Madison, was amazing! She quickly suggested items for us and welcomed us with a big smile and great attitude! There are so many food choices, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. My favorites so far, aside from the Loaded Swamp Fries, are the fried oysters, butterfly shrimp, and especially the catfish. I'll be trying the steak and potato next. Plus, they offer free ice cream for dessert! You definitely need to add this place to your must-visit list!

The food was hot to the touch, and was outstandingly prepared. I throughly enjoyed my dinner. I will have more catfish in my future!
