Newt's Catfish - Hattiesburg

After growing up in Hattiesburg, I found this place! I can't believe I missed 25 years of this kindness, but I'm gonna open it now! Love this restaurant! Fun, relaxed, family atmosphere with great food and even better service! Madison was our server and she was amazing! She suggested articles quickly to get replenishment, and a big smile / attitude! Many, I mean, LOTS, the choice of foods and ever one I've tried was fantastic. My favorites so far, apart from the Loaded Swamp Fries, were the fried oysters, butterfly shrimps and especially the catfish. Try the steak and the potato next. And... there's free ice cream for dessert! How are you? This place should be visited on your list!

Whos mama do I got to hug for tasting the best coleslaw in my life!! I normally hate hush puppies but I loved the ones got with my catfish here. Oh,lord man I can't wait to get a another job through here. I enjoyed the catfish it was a little soft but I think that's cause I got it to go ... so next time I'm seat on down and eat . I loved it .

It's a little pricey but absolutely fantastic food. Highly recommend
