Half Shell Oyster House - Hattiesburg

Really delicious. Had a good and friendly server. The voodoo sauce shrimp was amazing. We will definitely return. I felt like my hibiscus lemonade was a bit diluted with so much ice and then when I saw the picture on the menu I definitely felt that way. It was okay, could've been better.

The charboiled oysters, voodoo shrimp, salad (can't remember the kind it was) w/ comeback sauce were AMAZING!!

I've dined at this restaurant at least six times, and I always forget to take pictures of the dishes when they arrive. This time, however, I remembered! We went for brunch—it's not exactly what they're famous for, but everything was still delightful. I've never had a bad meal here; every dish I've tried has been excellent, and the service is consistently outstanding. The presentations are great, and the food is delicious. If you haven't visited Half Shell yet, you definitely should. Also, their turnip greens are the best in Hattiesburg—who would have thought that would come from an oyster house?

Consistently good. I've ate at quite a few of the Half Shell locations. They never disappoint. We had half shell oysters and crab claws as appetizers. They were both delicious. Fried oysters as my main. I requested they be fried crispy and they were perfect.

Half Shell Is definitely a great place to try to impress. Its good but you can tell its a minor chain. The workers at this one are phenomenal. They did good with service and keep up so if you are interested in a Half Shell I'd definitely choose this one. Also try their Old Fashions. Phenomenal. Bartenders are good.
