The Snack Shack - Hatteras

Thought our lunch would be mediocre since they have a captive clientele waiting for the ferry. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! Blackened shrimp tacos and grilled chicken Caesar BLT were FANTASTIC. Fast, friendly service and even the French fries were doneright. Thank you for the delicious lunch!!!

Honestly, the best fried pickles and onion rings I've ever had. Their sanitation rating is 99% too, so if you're not expecting much from a tiny shack, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

While we waited for the ferry we decided to get some food from the snack shack. The service was great! We got the chicken chunks and the blackened shrimp tacos. For the amount of food we got it was a little pricey.

Was hungry while shopping, boyfriend and split a chicken Cesar wrap with a water for $13 total, happily surprised It came with fries! Made fresh, fast and delicious

First, let me say it was nice to find a place that had their Open sign on that was actually open after driving down route 12 looking for a place to eat and stopping at 3 places that said they were open but were not. Second, the food was delicious andthe service was great and friendly. We had the Italian sandwich, fried pickles, onion rings and shrimp wontons. Everything wasso good! We will definitely stop again!
