Breakwater - Hatteras

Breakwater staff is fantastic, both in terms of customer service and general interpersonal interactions. The restaurant has a very cozy interior as well as a well-planned, beautiful outdoor seating area. As far as food is concerned, there are few places where I would rather eat in the area. The seafood is fresh, well prepared and I look forward to every time I'm in town. I only visit the area once a year, and Breakwater is one of my stops every time.

Food was good. Tuna poke appetizer was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasant. Server was very friendly but a little slow paced. Never asked if we wanted another drink but did remember to inquire about dessert.

Great food drinks. We had the spicy tuna appetizer grilled chicken sandwich. Their cocktails sunset were both great. Their live music was just right, but when they stopped playing, the acoustics with the peoples voices made it very loud.

Amazing sunsets. Great service all the way around and the most delicious food ever. The atmosphere on the back deck is the stuff of my dreams. Looking over the boats coming in and the easy going lifestyle of the local captains and mates makes for the most relaxed and enjoyable evening anywhere on the island.

The food was absolutely incredible! Each bite was better than the next and the view was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a light and airy seafood dinner.
