Richie's Grill Tavern - HATBORO

This is the quintessential local bar!!! Great place! I was in there on Monday for lunch and a couple beers. The bartender was great!!! Very friendly and welcoming!!! The food was really good!!! They serve a cup of pickles and a pickled hot pepper!!! Awesome! True old school!there were regulars in there and all of them were very friendly and make you feel like you belong!!! This is a great place a true great hang out!!! Love it!!!

Came here yesterday (Saturday to celebrate a family birthday with dinner. The five of us had never been here before but some of them heard one of their steaks was very good.We parked in the lot in the back, walked around front and entered in the front door. You have to walk through the bar in the front to get to the dining room in the back (there is a side door too, although I'm not sure if that's open all the time . We had made a reservations and were given to large booth which was great.It felt like a corner bar to me (corner bars are a favorite of mine! . Nothing fancy but expect cold beers, good food and great service! Karaoke had just stared in the bar area when we sat down so you could clearly hear every word being sung but it didn't bother us-we we're still able to hold a conversation at our table.Our waitress was wonderful (I don't remember her name...might have been Cara ! She took very good care of us during our visit. The food was good! I had the tuna steak special. The other three adults got the princess cut steak (I forget the cut of steak but it's the one they are known for . Everyone loved it!It was a fun and successful birthday dinner!

I ordered the queen cut of prime rib, asparagus with hollandaise, and an order of sweet potato fries. I have to say I loved it!The bar itself is dingy and could use some modernization. We almost walked out with the first impression but decided to stay. The waitress was very friendly and we thought the food was good. I will probably do more takeout here than dine in.

The food was outstanding. The service was the same. It is a bar with a few booths to eat, and the food is awesome. Prime rib was tops.Food: 5/5
