Ama Dimsum - Hat Yai

Original dim sum, so good! good price original taste and super price. in door seats and very well managed courtesy employees.

One of the shops for good down in hatyai. ama dimsum is always in the top 3 dimsum places in hatyai. it is a bit further from the inner city of hatyai and is less packed than the same of chokdee, but the choices of dimsum is plentiful and fresh. taste is good and like most dimsum shop in thailand, they can also order bac kut teh or gay tee. very recommended place to breakfast (and they are also open to dinner.)

My first meal in Hatyai. Great place to eat Dimsum if you feel Chokdee is too crowded. The environment and ambience do feel like having Dimsum in kampung(village). Staff serve friendly with enthusiastic. Most of them know Chinese since Dimsum is Chinese food. There is two area for dining; aircon and no aircon. But mostly aircon will be full. The Dimsum serves here is you need to queue and take the Dimsum u need and put to the counter for them to steam, after that they will bring along to your table. Remember to take the small paper sheet with number at your table when you pass the Dimsum to counter you will need it. Drinks can order when you finish choosing the dimsum at your table. Bakuteh here not bad but abit light taste and those Dimsum too. Maybe I'm from Malaysia Seremban. Because only Seremban and KL Dimsum in Malaysia will be heavy taste and they will serve you without self serving. Price here not too expensive about same like eating in Malaysia but cheaper than chokdee. Thats why my rate for taste only can give 3 but include others factor I give 4.

It’s a so enjoyable experience during our trip in Hatyai. Not superb but yet the ambient was warmth and staff were friendly. Initially we ordered a few to try out and end up we ordered 2 more rounds to completely our brunch. Price is reasonable affordable. Not 5 stars food to expect but the experience is truly well.

No menu provided, somehow similar to buffet, you just pick whatever u want and give it to the counter and they serve it to you after steaming it. There were fried food and some deep fried man-tao ready to take; the rest of the food need to be steamed and cook (have to wait). Not cheap; quite expensive. We spent 2800Batt for 8 adult; personally we think it’s not worth as the food was so-so-only (nothing special). Overall experience was ok; need to check with the counter we have been ordered, as the most of the time food that we have ordered was not submitted (porridge& bakuteh), if not you will be waiting for food you did not order ‍ We went there 9am Saturday morning, it was quite crowded, server was nice but not effective.
