Webbe's Rock-a-Nore - Hastings

It has been a while since I last had lobster but I do not recall it being tough and chewy. So I checked on Google today and it said if the lobster is overcooked it will be tough and chewy. Not good for a place that offers cooking lessons. I won't be eating there again any time soon. If you go there avoid the lobster.

Really enjoyed our food, lovely and fresh. We had an all seafood meal but they do serve other dishes. We had 3 corses and oysters and thought the bill very reasonable.The young gentleman who served us was attentive and chatty when spoken to. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Great food, and when you get served they are attentive. Just be aware of the pricing! Seems reasonable but actually quite expensive for what it is, and the client's it attracts

A lower score for atmosphere because we ate very early but it was all so lovely. Am sure the atmosphere would be great of a later evening!

Webbe’s Rock-a-Nore is one of the best restaurants I've dined at in England. The freshness of the fish and the quality of service are exceptional. Despite being a two-hour drive from London, it's worth the trip just to eat there. Be sure to make a reservation before you go..
