Caspian Sea - Hastings

Bought dinner for the family here on Saturday evening 10th October. The usual friendly service and good food. Fish is always well cooked and my son's veggie burger had a crisp salad. Portions are so generous!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else best fish and chips around, good size portions and really good for its price!

The food at this restaurant is outstanding, especially the hake. The staff is friendly and it is definitely our favorite place for fish and chips.

I went to this restaurant to grab some chips for my partner and myself before catching the train. I had heard good things about this place and wanted to give it a try. I placed my order and was told it would be a few minutes, but it ended up taking closer to 15 or 20 minutes. I was fine with this as I knew they were cooking it fresh. I stood by the wall to stay out of the way, as there was nobody else in the shop. However, I was told to take a seat. I politely declined and said I preferred to stand. The staff then threatened to give me a refund if I didn't sit down. When I asked why I needed to sit, they couldn't provide a reason and attempted to give me my money back. I refused and eventually received my food, which was okay but not the best I've had. The customer service was terrible, and based on this experience, I would not return to this restaurant.
