Fantastic value breakfast everything you can eat, in the morning personal friendly and helpful. but served in the evening was slow. we ate four days there. Every day we waited for 45 minutes for our meal. day one we followed after 45 minutes and our starter and main course arrived at a tablet! day three, we waited an hour, we followed it and was told that our order was lost. so that they had to take it back. the staff of flooring seemed to work flat. my two sons work in the catering industry, and it seems to me that the workers of the floor did their best management control over the system. was missing. not up to the usual brewers fare standard.

Brewery fayre was connected to our hotel so we have the meal deal that worked for us as a family. the food was a great disappointment! I think everything was cooked from frozen. it had no fresh taste at the meals. I only enjoyed a meal and that was the fried breakfast on our last day. breakfast I was disappointed and quite surprised that they did not cover any of the continental foods to the breakfast, and there were flying when I got a muffin. So I avoided everything! I was hoping for some nice hot and fresh dunishes, the bagel was rock hard, as it was probably a past and without covering up! so unhygienic. would not recommend the continental breakfast unless they like rock hard bagels and fly on their food.! on the 2nd day it was better. dinner- in the first night we waited when we were confused about their system! in the second night we sat at the table for our meal for 2 hours. not great. we have not hungry as it was so long! some of the staff were friendly.

Poor and very slow service. Took half an hour for the children's meals to arrive. The Carvery vegetables were lovely but the beef and chicken were tough to eat. The gentleman carving the meat was making a right hash of it. Could definitely do better.

Breakfast this morning was awful. The only hot item was the sausage, everything else was either lukewarm or cold. Beans were hard and poor quality. Cups were not properly clean/rinsed. No hot chocolate available. Toilets were not much better, no hand soap, only what appeared sanitizer in a container hand labelled as soap. Very disappointing, extremely poor value for money. We will not be visiting The Windmill again.
