Homestock Hastings

Having previously enjoyed chef-owner Lachie Greig-Moore's famous thrice-cooked chips, I was more than willing to drive over an hour just to have them again. They were just as fantastic as I remembered, but surprisingly (and I can hardly believe I'm saying this), they were overshadowed by one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. I opted for the house burger and, of course, added bacon, which made it an absolute delight. The size was just right, the patty was clearly made from top-quality beef, and the balance of the other ingredients resulted in what I can honestly say was a perfect burger. And I eat a lot of burgers! I’ll definitely be making the drive from St Kilda regularly to try everything on the menu. Great job, everyone!

After receiving a highly enthusiastic recommendation, I decided to check out this restaurant today, and it completely blew me away – it was fantastic! The veggie burger was incredible, and the gluten-free bun was even better... and I've never said that about a gluten-free bun before! I requested a dairy-free option and was offered avocado, which I thought was a great touch. But then I discovered the gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, raw desserts, and I was truly amazed!

I visited this charming little restaurant for the first time today, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The coffee was fabulous, and the free-range chicken burger was even better—absolutely delicious! A big thank you to the lovely ladies who served us. It's a delight to find a place that offers great service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere all in one spot!

What an amazing place. My partner and our son just came here for lunch and just had the best burger and chips i have ever had in my life. Staff are very friendly. If i could give more then 5 stars i would. Highly recommend
