Tony's Tacos - Hastings

The service was great the food was awesome!! The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and was always smiling!!

The tacos were really good and the Verde sauce was great. Was surprised when she brought out a small cup of ice cream as a thank you. Well here is a thank you back. I'm from out of town and was impressed. Ill try to get back some day and tell others.

The food is exceptional. The staff is courteous, and the prices are cheap. Don't mistake cheap prices for cheap food. Their food is exceptional. And for that I don't give 5 stars anywhere because that would say there's no room for improvement.

I'm the type that always finishes the food I pay for, especially when its $18 for 4 tacos and some chips and salsa. I could not finish my tacos. I don't know if it was the meat or the tortillas themselves, but there was a ton of grease on every taco. Taste was decent, but I couldn't get past how much grease there was. They put napkins in the container but I couldn't use them to wipe the grease off my hands, because they were soaked in grease too. As for the chips and salsa, imagine going to a high school football or basket ball game and getting the nachos. Those are the exact chips you get, and the cheese is straight out of a can. They also throw some fries in with your tacos, but they were under cooked and inedible. I wanted to like the food because the service was super friendly and I dug the atmosphere of the shop. Sad to say I won't be back.
