Coffee Cafe - Hasselt

Very nice cafe, friendly staff and nice atmosphère. The food is delocious and the cake is always luxurious and beautifully presented , prices are on good level

I saw all of the good reviews and decided to stop in for a coffee and dessert. I ordered a caramel macchiato and a slice of koekjestaart. Unfortunately, the coffee was sickly sweet and the cake was not sweet enough. I ended up leaving 80% of the coffee and half the cake behind. The cake served with the coffee was good, though. The ambience was nice and there are a lot of cool things to look at- if you look up you’ll see a lot of music boxes! The only reason this wasn’t a 1 star is because the lady at the counter was nice, food and coffee came out quickly, and the environment was cozy. I almost never leave food behind, but the coffee made me feel queasy and the cake wasn’t good enough to be worth how many calories were probably in it.

Nice staff, great coffee and homemade cakes. Recommended! We will come again
