I had a wonderful early dinner with friends at Ivy Inn. The ambiance was charming, evoking a sense of nostalgia. We opted for outdoor seating, which was very enjoyable. The food was delicious, and our servers were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

The service and food were outstanding. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $50 and $100. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well.

This restaurant is charming, but their billing practices are far from great! The menu clearly states that there will be a 3.85% surcharge for card payments, so we opted to pay with cash instead. However, they still added the 3.85% fee to our bill, taxed us on that amount, and then when we paid in cash, they returned our change based on the total that included the credit card fee! That feels dishonest! The waiter must have been aware of this! On a positive note, there is plenty of parking available, and we enjoyed dine-in service.

The food lacked flavor completely, making it quite bland. While the parking was free, the lot was poorly designed; it was difficult to maneuver out of your space if another car was parked behind you. Although they weren't directly blocking you, the small size of the lot made it easy to accidentally back into another vehicle. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
