We stumbled upon Zuccaro’s Kitchen in Hartsel, a quaint 'one horse ' town nestled between the hustle of city life and the serene ski resorts of the mountains. The town, with its modest offerings, set a humble backdrop for what was to be an unexpectedly delightful culinary experience. The rave reviews we had read were not overstated. Zuccaro 's Kitchen is a gem that shines brightly in its simplicity and quality. My wife opted for the gluten free Vito pizza, and it was a revelation. The cartoon cooked cauliflower crust struck the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, a rare feat for gluten free alternatives. The toppings were a symphony of flavors, well spiced and fresh, making every bite a joyous adventure for the taste buds. She was beyond pleased!I indulged in a toasted Italian hoagie, and it was nothing short of perfection. Packed with a generous portion of meats and veggies, and drizzled with a tangy dressing, it hit all the right notes. The bread, toasted to crispy excellence, enveloped the fillings in a warm embrace, creating a delightful crunch that resonated with satisfaction. The service at Zuccaro 's Kitchen added another layer to the already fantastic experience. Prompt, personable, and profoundly knowledgeable about the menu, our server made us feel right at home. It was a treat to be amongst the locals, sharing in their stories and laughter, all while enjoying the communal spirit over football and a beer or two.Zuccaro 's Kitchen is more than just a restaurant; it 's a heartwarming experience wrapped in the coziness of Hartsel. We are already looking forward to our next journey through the area, as Zuccaro 's will undoubtedly be a recurring highlight. A heartfelt thank you to the team at Zuccaro 's for making our post adventure meal so memorable. See you again soon!Dietary restrictions: Gluten less options made it a joy for my wife!!
Great place to stop while passing into the mountains! Our food was delicious and quickly prepared; pizza and meatball sub.
What a fantastic place! Everything about it is excellent. I am just saddened I waited until the last night of my trip and I wasn't able to eat there again. The pizza was incredible, that perfect crust is hard to find. My friends had to decide what to get because I wanted to try to many items. I will be there again, maybe lunch and dinner on my next visit. I need to try the meatball sandwich. Very authentic, amazing staff and owners. If they recognized you from a prior visit they made you feel welcome and if you were new it felt like they knew you. Very welcoming. I love my Italian food and this was some of the best, sorry Mom. Keep it up Greg and Carol.Vince R
When I ordered the Italian the first time I went in the waitress said “hope you’re ready for the best sandwich you’ve ever had” I thought “we’ll see” and see we did. it was incredible. I thought about it for weeks on end until I had it again. when I went in the second time I was so excited. I wanted to get one for my roommate but didn’t have enough. a guy at the bar ended up putting both sandwiches on his tab. and the owners gave me a free coozy and a sample of the meatballs, which were also incredible. I love this place. go eat here!!!!! you have to go the people are incredible and the food is perfect.
Stopped by this cozy place while on a road trip due to others' reviews was not disappointed!! I'm so glad we came here, the pizza is absolutely delicious!! Be mindful is not a fast food place as the food is made from scratch. We got a spinach pizza, house salad a raspberry tart, everything was so delicious everyone was super friendly! Definitely coming back if we're ever in town.
