Beautiful evening. the service could not be failed. our waitress begty was beautiful and very patient with me when I couldn't decide what taste of ice to have. I had king prawn malaysian curry, reis and chips then vanilla and toffeeeis. will be back. to forgive the gluten-free menu. Thank you.

I was eating here for the first time last night. would recommend a visit. that was delicious. the staff was friendly and helpful. the place and the atmosphere were beautiful. will eat there again.

We visited portals on a Friday night, for a family birthday meal. eating was as usual nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. when we were finished, we went into the bar of abbey to drink drinks and to listen to live music from the very talented pek and wanley. would recommend portals place in any case.

Went in the last night for a drink with my girlfriend, eating, drinks and service were all brilliant, beautiful people like harry and spencer who helped me in the restaurant and the night had to finish a really nice drink served in abteys bar chris, which also delivered top service, definitiw come back and recommend 100% to everyone!

This restaurant is the nicest place to eat in Hartlepool. I have been coming here for about 8 months now . The staff here are so friendly, while still remaining professional , the 2 course special is such good value for money . Go on give portals a try you won't be disappointed x
