The White Hart South Harting

The white hard has ended its partnership with OpenTable, so there shouldn’t be any inquiries about reservations.

We visited the White Hart while on a walk in the South Downs. We enjoyed a stay in a beautifully elegant room that was very comfortable and the perfect place to relax. Dinner was delicious, and the pub itself had a cozy atmosphere, enhanced by excellent Christmas decorations.

The service was excellent, and the dining experience was lovely. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Usually a really good meal an experience. at this opportunity, eating came only warm enough to eat. I felt like I had to iron it. To be fair, I was offered the opportunity to reheat the food, but previous experience made me say no, as they often wait a long time while their eating alone. also a bit disappointed that each other table around us will receive a sealed envelope with a good certificate at the end of their meal. We didn't. Maybe they didn't like my feedback?

Lovely meal well cooked served with charm and character. We really enjoyed our evening there and will definitely go again. I particularly enjoyed the seared scallops and my husband enjoyed the grain salad. Thank you
