The ambience is perfect and do not forget to visit the restaurant on Friday and weekends as they host Bollywood Nights dance party. The Parties of 6 and more have sperate private rooms as they can enjoy each other in a private space. It's a wonderful restaurant and the food was delicious. I remembered the local town of Delikatessen when they were back home. Visit it and enjoy the place with drinks and perfect Indian food.
Must try especially who likes traditonal food styles of india. Good service and hospitality
Start with the food, because that it what matters. Delicious, full stop. I started with Samosa Chaat thinking it was an appetizer. And maybe it would be for 3 or 4 people but it was a generous portion for one person so I only ate about half. Textures and flavors were terrific, just the right amount of heat. I can see why this is a popular street food. I followed that with Lamb Korma and garlic naan on the side. The gravy on this one was perfect, rich and almost sweet, and probably the best naan I've ever had. Dessert was Carrot Halwa. If you've never tried it this is a must-have dessert. My only complaint? The menus could be larger. I have good eyes but still jad some difficulty reading. I was the only done-in patron but the delivery pickups were nonstop. Service was maybe slow compared to US casual dining places but well worth the wait.
Good food and ambience. They have a dance floor and bar upstairs. Food is not bad. We tried biryani and few starter item's
Food is close to excellent! I ordered the Saag Paneer and it was absolutely delicious big portions too, well worth the money. I have not had much Indian food in my life, so I cannot judge too fairly, but my main criticisms would be that: the paneer (cheese) was a little drowned in saag The naan bread was a little bit too greasy for my liking, but then again I don't know much about traditional Indian cuisine The rice was delicious as well. The atmosphere, however, is a different story. This is not a fine dining restaurant. Silverware was disposable plastic, and food was delivered to the table in carryout containers rather than in dishes. The restaurant design is also quite dated, but this is more than excusable given the enormous undertaking it would be to change that. Service was good though, although it was a little slow, which is forgivable. Our waitress even let us leave our leftovers behind and pick them up later (we were going to a museum), which was extraordinarily nice of her. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time (Sunday at lunch) In all, I think this restaurant has the potential to become the finest Indian restaurant for miles around, with only minor changes, most notably switching to real silverware and real ceramic dishes. This alone would make the experience all the better.
