I ordered a pasta dinner through Uber eats from LUNA PIZZA AND PASTA, come to find out it was Sisson posing as Luna through false advertising. Not only that, they advertised “free delivery” then charged me $4 for delivery. They also advertised my spaghetti dinner comes with a salad, and cheese bread, it did not. It also took almost 90 minutes to arrive. After contacting Uber eats I was told I needed to deal directly with the store because they opted out of using Uber eats drivers and there was nothing they could do for me. I contacted Sisson and was placed on “hold” for about 20 minutes before someone came back to the phone. I explained my situation and the gentleman told me to contact Uber, it’s their problem. Once I told him they told me to contact the store, he pretty much told me to go screw myself and hung up. So a $12 bowl of spaghetti wound up costing me close to $30. THE FOOD WAS ALSO TERRIBLEThis establishment is awful, they lie, pose as well established, far better restaurants, use false advertising, and if you search them online you find photos of rats in their restaurant.
These guys have been talking care of my late night food orders for almost a decade now. The only place I order from once downtown Hartford closes.
This place is misleading people ordering takeout on the UberEats app. At this address (495 Farmington Avenue), they were using the name “Angelina’s Pizza and Pasta.”Angelina’s pizza is right down the street and I mistakenly ordered from this location due to the misleading name. Now I see they have changed the name on the UberEats app to “Pepe’s Pizza and Pasta.” Once again trying to mislead people by using a similar name to another reputable pizza shop nearby. Avoid this place at all costs due to their shady tactics.
