It took a while to get to J Rene, but it was worth the wait. This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, so I decided to give it a try. Located on a busy road in a charming community, J Rene offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is spotlessly clean and the decor is attractive, with bags of coffee and gift items available for purchase. But the highlight of the experience was the food and drinks. I enjoyed a Spanish torte with a delicious Sriracha sauce that had just the right amount of kick. To accompany my meal, I ordered a Coquito latte, which was non-alcoholic but still incredibly tasty. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to obtain an alcohol license and add some spirits to their drinks menu. Overall, I highly recommend checking out J Rene if you're in the West Hartford area or in need of a delicious latte fix.
