L - Hartford

The manager was attentive and, without us saying anything, came to check on our meals when our server was busy at the bar. Although I wasn't going to ask for a replacement, he insisted, so they brought out another grilled chicken. Unfortunately, it was still tough and unappetizing. I ended up with three grilled chicken breasts on my plate, none of which I could bring myself to eat. We decided not to bring it up again, but the manager checked on us once more and offered to remove it from the bill, which I had already paid. Instead, he offered us free drinks. It seems like a great place for drinks and networking, but the food didn't meet our expectations. So, while I’d rate the food at 2 stars, the manager's service brought the overall experience up to a solid 4 stars.

Everything was fine until I received the bill. The drink menu clearly stated that the beverage we ordered was $15, but when the check arrived, I was charged $21! When I questioned it, the waitress told me, and I quote, “THEY made me use premium liquor.” Wait a minute—who exactly is “THEY”? If something on YOUR menu costs an extra $6, you should inform customers before preparing the drink. That was really unfair. Additionally, one of the waitresses accidentally broke several bottles of alcohol when a stand behind the bar fell last night. I can’t help but wonder if they are trying to compensate for that lost revenue!

Despite these issues, I want to mention that both the manager and our server were genuinely apologetic about the situation. The manager kindly covered our entire bill, including the drinks and the beer I had after dinner. So while I’d suggest giving this place a try, just keep your expectations in check—it's more of a bar food experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, and even more impressed with our bartender, Brian. Despite being busy—since it seemed like every cheer family arrived for dinner at the same time—he maintained his composure and didn’t miss a beat. Our food was fantastic and arrived just right, even with all my daughter's picky requests. Brian was friendly and incredibly accommodating, which is definitely why I’m giving this place a five-star review.

My favorite place to spend Saturday nights! They have karaoke, pool, and fantastic beer pong tournaments. The food is definitely worth it on its own, and the staff here is the best!
