J Restaurant Bar - Hartford

We were seeing a show at the Bushnell and not familiar with Hartford restaurants took a chance on J Restaurant. It was fantastic! Great food and great service! Definitely recommend.

Really great service. It may sound silly, but I watched one of the staff clear and wipe down an outside table and he actually cleaned it, not just a quick wipe. He got into the open metal pattern to get residue out. You don't often see that attention to detail. This staff is obviously well trained. Our server, Gabby, was engaged and pleasant. Food was delicious. I'm hoping they move to a new location . I'd love to eat here everytime we come into town for a show at the Bushnell.

The Piaya special was incredible. Jordans crew is amazing. As always Julia's service was top notch. If you go there, you need to try Chris's chocolate Martini. Its special to dine at a restaurant where the owner is on the floor interacting with customers, and helping his staff provide the best experience.

Their menu is varied with fabulous sandwiches (be sure to order yours on focaccia bread), gourmet offerings, classic Italian dishes and pizza. Everything we had was delicious and wonderfully prepared. I recommend upgrading to the breaded eggplant fries instead of the shoestring fries.

I had a great time here the pizza was delicious the salad we had a gathering for my job it was very nice customer service is excellent inside is beautiful had a great time
