La Mexicana - Hart

This was the worst mexican restaurant i have visited. They charge for chips and salsa and the food was not good. Avoid if possible

We are from out of town and we couldn't find decent food( all diners then we found this place! It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to! 100% must try. Plus it is made fresh right after you order.

Carne asada tacos very good. Price is $2.25 each. Online menu says $1,95 each. Coctel de camaron (Shrimp Coctel) was very flavorful but didn't come with enough shrimp for the $12 price.

I have been searching for a place like this for years. The burritos are amazing, the staff is friendly, and you can taste that everything is homemade. It's definitely worth the hour drive and we will definitely return!

Authentic. Everything is made from scratch. Don't overlook this restaurant. We stopped on our way back from camping at Silver Lake. The carnitas, chicken, and tongue gorditas were incredibly delicious. They were served with fresh salsa and lemons. We also tried some frozen mango and milk bars, which were very refreshing. The store had a variety of baked goods too. We are excited to try the Strawberry Kisses waiting for us in the fridge. We didn't take any pictures because we devoured the food quickly.
