Ellendune Centre Chinese Takeaway

The food was terrible. My partner requested extra sauce when placing the order, but when we got home, there was hardly any sauce in the dish, making it inedible. The shop offered to give me another sauce next time I visit, but I have no intention of ever returning. The portion size was also disappointingly small. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this restaurant. If I could, I would give them zero stars.

The only positive aspect is the inexpensive pricing. However, this is likely a sign that the quality of the food will be lacking, which it definitely is. The chow mein is dry and lacks any sauce. The meat is chewy, and the chips are bland and seem to have been reheated. The curry is inedible. The quick preparation time should have been a warning sign. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in the quality of the food at this restaurant over the past year. The fried rice used to be delicious, but now it tastes bland and the dishes are often overcooked. The last straw was when I discovered a hair in my chili shredded beef, which completely turned me off. When I called to complain and inquire about their kitchen practices, I was informed that they do not wear hairnets and received a simple apology. It's disappointing to say that we will not be returning until the food improves.

Great Chinese food, pleasant staff, positive atmosphere. Great keen prices. HEARTILY recommend it. Phone ordering was easy.

My wife and I have been going to this place for a few times, and I must say the food are excellent. I usually have the Singapore vermicelli, king dul ribs and chicken satay on skewers. We are planning for a takeaway again tomorrow as all visits been excellent and consistent. Thank you Ellendune Takeaway
