We visited on a Sunday evening and were impressed by the delicious food, particularly the Goan Fish Curry with its generous portion size. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the chef went above and beyond by preparing a special dish for us to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors alike.
This has been our local for years and we've always loved the food here. In particular the chili paneer and special wings. Since the new ownership took over a couple of years ago the decor has improved tremendously but it's come at the cost of the atmosphere that it used to have. It was guaranteed to be full or nearly full at the weekends but now it's often empty which is a real shame. We'll continue coming here though as the food remains delicious and we always get treated well as the staff all know us! The prices are perhaps slightly steep but not extortionate and the portions are very generous.
Having recently moved to North Harrow from Tooting Bec and Brick Lane, where we have tried a lot of Indian fusion cuisine, we were pleasantly surprised by the incredibly delicious food at this restaurant. The Boy, who has spent time in Nepal, found the momos to be very authentic. We both loved the tandoori prawns and the paneer was so light, fluffy, and succulent that I wanted to buy it in bulk for my own paneer dishes.
We only stopped in for a quick drink and catch up on the sofas. The place had a slight damp smell, hopefully the owners will address that soon.
It was interesting reading the reviews. I am not sure whether the restaurant has new owners or a new chef but the food here is very good. The vegatarian momos (starters) are delightful they have a depth of flavour and are really tasty. The prawn grill is lovely and the chicken and lamb dishes are lovely. We haven't had dessert here so cannot comment. The restaurant caters well for families with children and our five year old really likes to eat here. Service is slighty slow but the food is definitely worth it.
