Despite our complaints, the manager suggested that we eat the leftover vegetables and chicken instead. Having lived in Cyprus for many years, I informed them that it is unacceptable to offer a carvery without any meat, especially for a pre-booked reservation. Eventually, they only reduced the bill after I threatened to call the police, and they banned our group from returning to the restaurant. This information was relayed to us by a waitress, as the owner was too arrogant to apologize to my guests or inform me of the ban personally. The owner of this restaurant has a backward mentality, and I would not recommend it to any of my friends.
The owners of this restaurant are incompetent and unable to prepare a decent meal. It should be shut down as soon as possible.
A great destination for couples families alike, we stayed in the Aloe Hotel where our taxi was met by a bell boy who took our cases direct to our room, they will also collect your cases at the end of your holiday and load...your taxi now that's customer service especially if have difficulty like I do with heavy cases. This hotel is very accommodating with indoor outdoor pools, food is of the highest order and they accommodate all levels from bed breakfast through to all inclusive. Hotel Aloe is only five minute stroll from the beach or turn left and within five minutes your in the centre of town and ten minutes your in the famous harbour which has some fantastic restaurants that are well worth visiting a little expensive but worth treating yourself, in the old part of Paphos you can find the ex pats and where they eat these restaurants are also good value for money and cheap compared to these harbour side restaurants. You will find all restaurants welcome families and don't worry if your child happens to drop a fork or break a glass as your waiting staff cannot do enough for you, We found customer service during our stay was faultless. August can be very very hot so be carefull when you book, you will find May June September are great months for families to visit still hot mind you but not as hot as August. Bill Sandra London
