Coopers Hawk Vineyards - Harrow

My husband and I enjoy stopping here whenever we are in the region. They produce some great wines and always have friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand to tell us about the wines when we are doing tastings.

Went in for some sampling and came out with a few bottles to bring home. We had never heard of this place but saw it on the wine map for the region. The service was great with a knowledgable sommelier. Will return for sure.

Stopped for a wine tasting and lunch. Loved the Chardonnay Reserve 2015 and the Cabernet Merlot Reserve 2011. The grilled Calamari (not battered) with white wine, lemon and squeeze of balsamic was the best that we have ever experienced. Serving size was good for a lunch or a shared appetizer. Nice indoor area as well as the outdoor patio with shaded areas. Nice friendly service.

The food wasn't all that great, and the service while friendly was not particularly good. We got there around six thirty by the time we actually got our food three other parties had arrived after us and left or at least had there food. We were only a party of four! Not a good experience.

We attended a wedding reception there and the food was fantastic. We came back for lunch and were met with the same great quality. Try the wonderful seafood and calamari. Delicious and tender. Fish was not overcooked at all. Can't comment not the wine as we don't drink alcohol. Very nice atmosphere and thoughtful efficient staff. Too bad dinner is limited hours but lunch has better hours.
