The tomato Feta soup was utterly delicious especially great value with a cheese toastie. My husband had Brie Bacon which came with the most amazing salad. Top place highly recommended with a beautiful smiley owner.
Friendly service with fantastic food! We ordered lunch were served quickly, which is always good. I had a goats cheese beetroot toasty which came with a small selection of side salads. It was all fresh tasty. My mother was genuinely surprised by the amount of food on her plate, that was quite amusing. I had a look around at the other customers food the pancakes were amazing! We would have loved a cake from them because they looked delicious but couldn't fit them in. If we go back to Ripon we'd love to visit again! The cafe is at the top of the building so if you get a window seat you'll get an interesting view of the going ons down on the street. One of the most important things to me about this place is that it's dog friendly which definitely isn't the case everywhere in Ripon!
Even though Messy Buns is not located on the main road leading up to the cathedral, it was a delightful discovery. The menu offered a variety of options at very affordable prices, and the lunch I had, a Brie and cranberry toastie, was delicious. It was served with two tasty salads. My partner and I have visited Ripon a few times recently, and we will definitely be returning to Messy Buns when we come back. The staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable.
Messy Buns made our wedding cake, a small two tier fondant iced cake above an array of different flavoured cupcakes. They were absolutely Devine, presented perfectly and a reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend this lovely cake shop and the staff.
This charming spot is perfect for enjoying coffee and cake, and from the looks of it, a delicious meal as well. It took us some time to find, but it was definitely worth it. This independent café is superb and even pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our dog in too!
