Salgado's Pupuseria Y Taqueria

Every where in USA and in Central America, El Salvador pupusas are sold individually. So I order only 2 pupusas thinking they would cost at most $6 total . The guy at register says it $18 when I asked why he said they where 2 order. 1 order consist of 4 pupusas so he was charging me for 8 pupusas. Then only then he proceeded to explain the are sold in group of 4 pupusas. Obviously we cancel 1 order and ended getting 1 order with 4 pupusas instead of the 2 we only wanted. So beware when ordering . Taste of pupusas where not authentic tasting and red sauce tastes what you put on taco definitely not authentic tasting Salvadorans sauce.

Ordered steak, they gave me pork instead. Horrible experience.

The pupusas are very delicious, and everything is priced really well. The food is cooked to order, so it's a bit of a short wait, about 15 minutes after ordering. The staff is very friendly. We're coming here more frequently, and I hope that more people discover this gem of authentic Central American food in Harrisonburg!

Most affordable best tasting taco joint in town. Highly recommend. Pork and cheese Pupusa are on point;carnitas burrito and carnitas tacos with green sauce are the best!

The food here is only lightly spiced, but I believe that's intentional, as they provide three delicious sauces for you to customize the flavor to your liking. With the sauces added, everything was fantastic! Plus, the prices are surprisingly low. I will definitely be returning.
