Mr. J's Bagels Deli - Harrisonburg

Great bagel in Harrisonburg they have 3 locations around town so take your pick. I just opted for a salt bagel w cream cheese I had to scrape some of the salt off because it was just a weeeee too much. Will try the BEC next time as that's always a good litmus test.

This review is solely based on the Italian sub if you want to call it that). For $10 bucks I was hoping for this sandwich to have some gerth, I was wrong. You get 1 to 2 paper thin meat slices and grated parm cheese. Who puts grated parm cheese on an Italian sandwich? This sandwich belongs on the shelf below the bottom shelf.

After my order was forgotten we proceeded to wait 25 minutes for biscuits and gravy. The staff is fresh out of high school and made no effort to apologize or make amends. We were suggested this location and left incredibly disappointed. We won’t be returning.

I visited the restaurant on Market Street to get a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel at 9:50. I had to wait a long time and didn't receive my order until 10:10. The girl working there made about 20 orders before mine, and she brought out all the bags and called people for their food in no particular order. It was frustrating to have to wait so long for expensive food. They really need to improve their system and call out orders when they're ready. When I was there, me and two other people were standing in the store shaking our heads in disbelief.

I stopped here the other day with my parents i ordered an everything bagel with plain cheese and it was really good (also not too heavy i didn't get sleepy afterwards) i really liked the way it was like the softness saltiness or the slight hardness on the outside of it we sat on the outside patio and it was enjoyable enough
