Golden Corral - Harrisonburg

This is a great place to visit when they enjoy buffets and when they have a group to feed! the meals are of great value (under $50 for 4 people, including drinks and tips, at lunch time) and there is a wonderful selection of foods to choose from. the service is excellent, we have appreciated tina and carol at earlier visits. both the children and the adults of our family enjoy coming here. we often visit more than once during the time we spend visiting the opposite. I enjoyed trying southern favorites like fried chicken, cookies and gravy, geese, maisbrot and peach-cobbler. there are free options for dessert and the food elements have published calorie information.

The food was very good. There is always a great selection at this buffet. This was the first time they didn 't have clam chowder on the buffet, which was disappointing. I thought all Golden Corral 's had that soup on the buffet all of the time. Apparently not. I am giving four stars because of the cost. For 3 adults (one of those adults is 14) and one 4-year-old, we paid over $54 for our meal. Golden Corral used to be an affordable place for a good family meal. Not so much anymore.

It was the best Golden Corral we've been to. Great waitresses and the gentleman that cooked the steaks got my daughter's right the first time. Manager was also nice. Lady that was making cakes was also great.

Mediocre food at a mediocre price! So long as you bring a coupon anyway. LOL nothing to write home or Facebook about but you won't leave hungry.

They also have a taco bar and a fantastic dessert section, which featured a scrumptious selection of treats. Compared to other Golden Corrals we have visited, this one stands out as exceptional. If we're in the area again, we’ll definitely make this one of our food stops!
