El Paisano Bakery - Harrisonburg

I always love getting churros and conchas from this place. They also have a variety of other sweet treats, including pastries, cookies, doughnuts, and cakes. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. Just a heads up, if you plan to pay by card, there is a minimum purchase of about $5.

The pastries are simply exquisite! The bakery has a cozy atmosphere and a delightful aroma. The woman at the register was both friendly and quick. I will definitely be returning!

We stopped in to grab some donuts for our nieces and nephews while passing through town, but we were really let down. After two hours, the donuts were incredibly stale—dunking them in coffee didn’t even make a difference. We ended up having to find something else for breakfast. I won’t be returning.

Excellent choice of baked goods. Really good flan and they specialize in cakes!

Tasty Mexican baked goods. The one we enjoyed the most was their filled sweet bread. Their hot chocolate was very good too.
