My husband and I and our cousin and her husband had dinner here the first Friday night in December. Though there was a holiday party, we were able to be seated right away without reservations. Our server was kind and attentive. He made great food and drink suggestions. The rum punch was premixed but tasty. The atmosphere was quaint and intimate. I ordered a white fish in a wine sauce, yellow rice and mixed veggies (carrots, green beans and broccoli). We walked from our hotel (Hampton Inn Suites) which was about a five minute walk. The route was well lit and safe.

I was here on a work trip back in March and came back tonight. It’s only a couple hundred yards from the Hampton Inn where I am staying. Pictures of the entrance from the street, the bar area, and the dining room area are attached . I had the Paella Mariscos with Sangria (pictures attached), there is more seafood than rice. It has shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari!! I will have more work trips to the area and will definitely come back here.

Very home like bar. Loved the atmosphere. They had karaoke which made the night so much fun! Great drinks and the food was delicious. Would recommend for any chill evening. You can even rent their space out for a small birthday gathering. Waiters and owner was very attentive. Looking forward to returning!

Customer service from the moment you open the door is top notch!! The food was off the charts, can't wait until I'm back in the area again!!

Went in for some late snacks after a long day and before an extended trip to Brazil (Hotel and this restaurant are not all that far to EWR airport).....Food was actually very good. Old guy, Portuguese waiter was friendly enough when we came in, but the bartender waiter that took over after him.....Sheeeesh! So damned unfriendly, didn't crack a smile, didn't even attempt some lite BS with us, his esteemed patrons.....Made an otherwise tasty meal a bit of a disappointment....Guy could use some classes at a charm school (unless he's only like this with non-regular clientele)....Suggestion: Go across the river to Newark's Ironbound for great food choices and with waiters that make you feel welcome, e-s-p-e-c-i-a-l-l-y during these Covid times
