Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Harrisburg

Hard to find good NY pizza thank you Hawthornes i just found the slice that reminds me of home.

This is a new location on S. Tryon. Went in for lunch on Sunday to try it out. We had ordered takeout from Hawthorne’s before and liked it. We had been to the prior establishment in this location and it as always short staffed. That was not the case here. Yes, it’s newer but it was clean and inviting. Our server Matt H was friendly and enthusiastic. The service was very good and our Stromboli and pizza came quickly a nd was perfectly made and hot. Kelly, the Manager stopped to make sure everything was correct and good as ordered. It is always nice when a manager takes a moment to check and thank you for coming in. We ar moving out of the state in two days otherwise we would be back. I’m sure you will do well as the area is continuing to grow and I need of a quality pizza restaurant.

If the Harrisburg location is closed, it would be nice to say online it is closed when you drive 30 minutes to eat.

I understand it isn’t easy to update google maps but at BARE minimum if your restaurant is temporarily CLOSED you should AT LEAST have that on your WEBSITE. Waste of my gas. It’s a shame they have really good food but can’t seem to communicate effectively with its customers.

Came here yesterday for pizza as Google shows it as open. Arrive at the location to find a note on the door that this location is temporarily closed. If you are closed please update Google so people can see it!
