We found this restaurant through an entertainment book and decided to give it a try. The food was good, but the service was incredibly slow. When we asked about the offer advertised in the entertainment book, we were told they were not honoring it. The waiter called the owner, who was quite rude. In the end, we had to pay the full amount without any discount. It was a very unprofessional experience. We enjoyed the food and might have become regular customers, but after this bad experience, we will not be returning. Some friends had similar issues with the offer only being valid for dine-in, not takeout. We were disappointed that we did not receive the advertised discount.
Starting with the order was slow, a little time to bring the duck and the net. large room for improvement. Eating was fine, tasted better than a few others in this area. The tables are clean and comfortable. Parts were fine...for prices calculated
I tried her food as a random choice, excellent food and affordable price. Good Tandoori Chicken and Nan.Chicken Curry was good and Chowmeen and Veg Fried Reis was beautiful.
We ordered takeaway from this restaurant using Groupons with a lot of aprehension, basically because the quantities supplied were very poor and also that being a new place, but we were quite pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the people and the freshness and taste...of the food.. We ordered for 6 people but the quantities suppied were only enough for 4 but we had paid for 6 by Groupon vouchers. The person at the restaurant on phone agreed to sort it out for us and we hope he does. Now, coming to the food, we had ordered a vegetarian meal and the entree's were finger licking good. We had ordered 4 curries for the mains and while all of them tasted good, there were quite some similarities in the spices used and the taste of the gravy which made us wonder whether these items were individually made and some kind of common gravy was used. The naans/bread basket were fresh and soft but as expressed the quantities were not enough because they had served for 4 instead of the 6 we had ordered. The mango kulfi for dessert was absolutely divine. Overall an excellent place for good fresh and tasty food, but be careful about takeaway orders as I am still unable to understand whether the supply for 4 instead of 6 was a genuine mistake or intentionally done by some waiter/kitchen hand. Only time will prove which way it was based on whether Taza Tandoor honours their word of supplying 2 people's meals that we had already paid. But again, all said and done, I would still highly recommend this restaurant for their food as you will not be disappointed.
