Some jam with no use by date or ingredients list not legal) and two pack of tissues. I think I was served by Mrs Danvers. Terrible place.
We used Flip Food for catering for our 40 person event in Bristol and they were fantastic. Communication before was clear, and the team were really accommodating of our dietary requirements and timings for our weekend, including clearly labelled gluten free options. Delivery was prompt and the variety of innovative and tasty vegan sandwiches offered was really well received. Would highly recommend Flip for catering for other events!
I shop here regularly, not for loads of stuff (I'd like to though! the product range is amazing, and the freshly made items are always REALLY good. It's also one of the very few shops that sell good Mexican products, which means I don't have to order online (I can just pop round the corner . I had a minor issue recently, and they responded really quickly to my comments, which had been left as a review. Really responsive service!
Went in Flip today for two coffees, had two flat whites (which were bitter and luke warm). I was left completely shocked by the fact that when it came to payment, i was asked to give the male cashier my pin number! i questioned this and was told it would save him wiping the keypad .He was offish and came across sarcastic when i asked. If it wasn 't for the fact that my partner who is currently extremely unwell due to having cancer and has chronic fatigue, and he needed the drink and was too tired to walk further, i would 've refused. I never leave bad reviews but felt compelled too, as there is no way at any point anyone should ever give out their pin number out or be put in that position.
Absolutely brilliant place. Visited for the first time today, having moved to Bristol in June. We took the kids for a bike ride to Greville Smyth via a coffee and cake stop on North St. and Flip did not disappoint. The vegan almond croissant and vegan carrot cake were exquisite, and the coffee was rather decent too. Big thumbs up from us.
