Hunter's - Harbor Beach

I read reviews and this place got a lot of bad reviews because apparently you can still smoke in here. We decided to give this place a try for ourselves. We came in from out of town on a Friday evening. Kind of early maybe around 9pm or so. We sat at the bar. We were greeted by a young lady right away. Very friendly and she continued to take care of us. They sell cigarettes, snacks, they have keno, a instant lottery machine, some “slot machines, a pool table, darts, music. They offer food which we didn’t order from so I’m not sure how it was. Although it did smell good. there were a variety of people in there. Local drunks at the end of the bar, family, young ones, older people. The bathroom doors don’t have locks and if you’re not careful when coming out of a stahl and someone is coming into the bathroom you might get smashed with the door. Also be prepared for pee to be all over the floor. All and all it was a normal small town bar Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Cory the bartender was great. Burger, not so much for the price. Skinny fries... As a former smoker, I still don't think the Government should be able to tell you that you can't smoke. In a Bar!! But when you add food. It doesn't work.

Cory the bartender was great. But the price of the burger was too much for a mediocre burger. I don't like the government telling us that we can't smoke in bars or restaurants, but. As a 35-year former smoker when you add food it's a different ball game.

Be prepared to get blasted with cigarette smoke ! Cloth chairs that hold the old cigarette smell to. Man smoking one after other some using vapes. Service was good, one guy doing orders cooking checked back on us. Got burger fries, Fries were small frozen cuts like micky Ds ! Cooked in clean grease. Burger was good size but lacked any beef flavor. I got cheese that put mine at $10.50 on a bun that looked like size of big Mac just some burger over sides. I won't go back the smell was a big turn off. No food aroma just cigarettes! Wrong smoke for me! Gave a 1 start for the worker behind the bar doing everything. I should have known when no cars were parked there!‍

Great old time classic bar. Went with another couple late afternoon. Great service by Corey who was bartender and cook! We all had burgers, waffle fries and onion rings. The burgers were fresh and hand pattied not the processed looking discs, probably 1/3 to a half pound. Had a great time. Shout out to Kat who took over for Corey, she was very attentive too.
