Lian Su Shenghuo Guan Lián Sù Shēng Huó Guǎn

My friend and I were in Harbin for only four days and we made sure to eat at this restaurant three times! We couldn't resist coming back! The food is absolutely incredible, the restaurant is cozy and quiet, and the staff is friendly and lovely! Each time we returned, we tried different dishes and each one was better than the last! This restaurant is truly incredible and one that we would travel to Harbin just to eat at!

We were delighted to discover this restaurant (via Baidu Maps) located conveniently near our AirBnB Square. Situated not far from the main bus stop, the Flood Memorial, the cross-river cable car, and Zhaolin Park, it provided a peaceful retreat in the midst of the bustling and snowy surroundings. The decor was elegant, with a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful music playing. The dining experience was exquisite, although slightly pricier than other options, the quality, ambiance, and service made it well worth it. From a Western perspective, the prices were also very reasonable. The restaurant is fully vegetarian, so even though there may be language barriers, they can accommodate for hidden meat products. The menu includes photos to assist with ordering, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating despite our limited Mandarin. The menu featured a variety of faux meat dishes as well as vegetable-based options. The crispy fish dish was particularly outstanding, as was the sweet and sour dish. We dined there twice in January 2020. The restaurant offers three seating areas, including semi-private group tables, hot pot tables, and a space where ethically produced clothing and other items are sold. They also sell their own sauces and faux meat products. There is a bus stop nearby and the entrance sign displays English text and opening hours.

The restaurant features three levels with semi-private group tables, hot pot options, and a shop selling ethically-made clothing and goods, along with their own sauces and faux meats. A nearby bus stop, marked with a pedestrian overpass, makes it easily accessible. Look for the English signage by the entrance displaying the opening hours.
