Peet's Coffee Tea - Happy Valley

During my visit from out of town, I found this location with ease. They have an excellent selection of coffee and various options to choose from. The staff, including Kat and Nigel, were very knowledgeable and friendly. They offered samples, prepared our drinks exactly as ordered, and the food was delightful. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet during our mid-morning visit. I was especially impressed by the wide variety of coffee available and the staff’s readiness to brew, grind, or package any choice you prefer.

I've been coming here because their beans are of excellent quality for the price. We tend to visit this location when there aren’t any good sales at the grocery stores. I appreciate the nice and clean atmosphere; it feels comfortable without the pretentious vibe you often find in other coffee shops in Portland. They usually have some sort of promotion going on, so you can save a bit. It's a great little spot to grab your coffee.

For years, I was familiar with Peet's Coffee mostly from restaurants and offices, but I had no idea they had actual storefronts. When my wife and I found ourselves in the area, we checked out the photos on Google Maps and thought it looked like a great spot to grab a good drink and a light bite to eat. We really enjoyed the interior setup, the ordering process was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The espresso drink I ordered was outstanding, and even my wife, who doesn't usually drink coffee, loved the Chai! She has high standards when it comes to Chai, and it met her expectations. We also tried some sandwiches, which were really delicious—especially the ciabatta with arugula, which I particularly enjoyed. We're definitely looking forward to returning!

Went here for a morning coffee run with my little sister who recommended it to me. The customer service, beverages, and food were all 10/10! Shoutout to the barista with blue streaks in her hair and lots of pins on her apron who helped me pick out a new favorite drink when I didn?t know what to order! She was so kind, and the other blonde girl who was working was just as friendly. I have a new addiction to chai tea lattes with maple syrup and cinnamon. Tastes like fall in a cup. :

We were having a bad start to our day, and needed a pick me up. Thankfully Pete's coffee was around. The pastries were good, and warm, customer service was spot on. Good location, plenty of parking. Thank you!
