Buttersweet Bakery - Hapeville

This bakery truly excelled in customer service. I ordered cupcakes for my best friend's birthday, who is in the Navy, to be delivered to her hotel. Unfortunately, GrubHub mishandled the delivery, but Buttersweet Bakery stepped in and offered to deliver them personally! The staff were incredibly kind over the phone. Even though I wasn't there in person to complete the order, they managed to make it happen without GrubHub's help! They made her birthday special, which is all I could have hoped for!

I recently moved to the area and decided to host my first gathering at my new place with a few friends. I came across Buttersweet and picked up a selection of brownies and cupcakes for the party. I really love this place! I had great communication with the owner and her staff. They were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. I ordered a four-layer lemon sheet cake for my graduation party, and it was a huge success! It was incredibly moist and clearly made with care—much better than anything you’d find in a store. Knowing that this business is Black-owned makes me even happier. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious treats, and I will definitely be returning!

OH. MY. GOSH. This place is off-the-charts good! They make beautiful wedding cakes that taste even better than they look. Cupcakes, too. Try everything! The cookies are too good! I'm already wishing I'd bought more when I was there. Soft, chewy, perfect. My favorite: Sugar cookie. These are so good that they will make your eyes roll back in your head. My husband's favorite: Oatmeal raisin. They're pretty much perfect. Our other favorite: Chunky chocolate chip. Dreamy. Youcan taste the real butter and quality ingredients in these cookies. Super friendly staff. We are obsessed. See photo...We ate part of a cookie before we could even take the picture. Not sorry.
