Queen’s Bush Pub - Hanover

We really enjoyed our visit. The pub itself is lovely and comfortable. Interesting beers and good, fresh food! We'll go back!

There is nothing spectacular about the food at the Queen's Bush Pub, but you will get what you pay for. It is "decent" pub food with enough menu choices that you should be able to find something for even the pickiest eater.

I checked the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to stop here for lunch on our way up to Tobermory.We weren't disappointed. We ordered the creamed vegetable soup and it was very tasty. I tried the 'RUEBEN,' which included sauerkraut, and it filled the spot. My husband ordered the TEXICAN CHICKEN WRAP and he really liked it. Everyone at our table was surprised that the food was so good. It's a pub so we weren't expecting much. Service was a bit slow but we'll stop again on our way up north. It's a bit more interesting than the other places in town.

For the setting and the pub décor - A+ rating. Landscaping is incredible, sitting on the patio you can hear the traffic but you can't see it. Servers are knowledgeable and efficient.Some the food offerings, however.... One of my dining companions (who is Kosher) ordered a corned beef sandwich on rye, hold the cheese. When the sandwich was served, the chef had added onions and pickles on top of the beef - like burger toppings - which was very odd (and means that the chef has no concept of what a (soul food) deli sandwich consists of). So special orders do upset them. Otherwise the food was tasty and is recommended.

Great service and food always good. Would recommend! They have an outdoor patio. Busy spot. Lots of parking available.
